Watch the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Ella Purnell in “Arcane.” ;. Fortiche Productions created a music video called "Get Jinxed" for Riot in 2013. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series, which took them several years to create. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce.

It quickly grabbed me, and I binged the entire season in one sitting
I mean, it’s based on a video game, since when has it produced anything better than acceptable? But regardless, this is one of the best shows I’ve watched in a long time. I just saw the first episode of the new Wheel of Time adaptation, and disappointed by it, I was looking for something else and just happened to see it get good reviews. Arcane does everything right that so many shows and movies get wrong these days. They respect all of their characters, make sure you understand why they’re doing what they’re doing, and make you empathize with them.
They set things up early and provide a decent payoff so nothing feels rushed or cheap
They take just enough time to hook you into the story and world before the big plot points happen so you can really feel their impact. And something that is so rare these days; they are not afraid to attribute flaws to all their characters and let them fail regardless of their gender or how strong they are supposed to be. This is a show with two female leads who can both overcome anyone, and neither of them feels like they deserve it. And not once do they feel the need to put down the men to show how cool they are. Take note, creators of other shows, this is how you write strong characters, regardless of gender, that your audience can feel invested in.
Special mention to the animators
Kudos to you for being able to make characters who can express both strong and subtle emotions more vividly than most real actors can. And kudos to the voice acting and music choices, both of which are top notch. Overall, a very enjoyable show that gives me a glimmer of hope for future entertainment as I await season 2.
